My name is Haruna Ali, am 17 years old boy, I heard about TMRI through my mum when I was 13 years old in 2018, she got in touch with the host mum and I started attending the street talk show. As at then I wasn’t going to school.
My mum was the only one taken care of me and my younger one’s. With the help of the host of TMRI aunty Jecinta Ogaraku, I enrolled for the free tailoring skill they offered in their skill acquisition training center, While learning, I was able to start attending school again, and now I am being paid for the dresses I make.
Now I assist my mum in house up keep and care for my younger one’s.
I want to say a big Thank you to the Team of TMRI for the work they are doing engaging there teenagers with sustainable skill. I pray that God will give them the support they deserve.
