The Teenagers Mind Restructuring Initiative (TMRI)
is a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to restructuring the mindsets and lifestyles of teenagers and youths for self-discovery at a young age, empowering them with free sustainable skills based on their line of passion fostering self-reliance.
TMRI is leading the SDGs & grassroots action to end poverty, provide quality education, economic empowerment & decent work to the marginalized citizens of Nigeria.
We are on a mission to equip the younger generation with the resilience and skills needed to tackle the challenges of adulthood. With fervor and determination, we strive to shield them from the clutches of human trafficking through innovative projects that contribute to the growth of society.

Our History
TMRI’s inception stems from a heartfelt response to the struggles faced by teenagers today. These hurdles encompass confusion, the weight of peer pressure, actions that lead to heartache, the scars of childhood disadvantages often inflicted by parents, teenage pregnancies, defaults, and the scars that disrupt academic focus. As if that’s not enough, the additional burden of issues like human trafficking, sexual molestation, the misdirection of priorities, and the misuse of social media further darkens the horizon. These storms of life also cast shadows upon adulthood, manifesting as unemployment, frustration, the devastating grip of substance addiction, the ghosts of regret, and even haunting thoughts of suicide.
Many teenagers, robbed of the guiding light of supportive parents, carry these battles into their adult years. As they grapple with the complexities of grown-up life, their confusion deepens, and their frustration simmers, often driving them to seize fleeting opportunities for immediate gain. These choices often contribute to larger societal problems, eroding the safety and well-being of the communities they touch.
At TMRI, we wholeheartedly embrace the value of the teenage phase. With unwavering determination, we reach out to teenagers across various communities and the expanse of Nigeria’s 36 states. Since our inception in 2017, TMRI has blossomed into a steadfast advocate of these values. We’ve cemented our commitment by officially incorporating under Nigerian Law with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on November 5th, 2018.
In essence, the Teenagers Mind Restructuring Initiative is driven by raw emotion and an unshakeable belief in the transformative power of guiding teenagers toward a resilient and empowered adulthood. We are not just an organization; we are a force of hope, a beacon for change, and a catalyst for a brighter future.
